What was the origin story behind Omnos?

As a former French champion swimmer, my personal health challenges were the catalyst for starting Omnos. Initially, I was constantly tired and diagnosed as overtraining. This was compounded by a diet heavy in calories to support my intense swimming regimen, leading me to crash often. Dissatisfied with conventional advice, I took it upon myself to delve into nutrition and realized the significant impact of diet on my performance and well-being. This journey not only altered my diet but also piqued my interest in the broader potential of personalizing health care, which ultimately led to the founding of Omnos.

The core mission of Omnos stemmed from my realization that generic health advice often fails to address individual needs effectively. Through my exploration of sports science and DNA testing, I recognized the power of personalized health strategies based on one's unique biological makeup. This understanding drove the development of Omnos. The Omnos analytic platform offers a comprehensive approach by bridging the gap between genetic data and symptoms. It integrates data from over 1500 biomarkers derived from various tests including blood markers, hormones, and microbiomes, among others, providing a holistic view for more precise analysis and insights

Could you provide a practical example of how someone has utilized Omnos’ tools to improve their health outcomes?

One common example involves addressing symptoms that many people mistakenly accept as normal due to aging or stress. For instance, many users discover they have Candida overgrowth—a manageable condition that can significantly affect energy levels and overall health.

Our comprehensive analysis often reveals underlying issues such as nutritional deficiencies tied to poor gut health. In this specific scenario, if the symptom assessment suggests investigating the microbiome and subsequent analysis confirms that the underlying issue stems from gut health, we prioritize a series of steps. These steps involve first eliminating factors contributing to the candida issue, followed by replenishing any nutrient deficiencies it may have caused. Moreover, we provide granular recommendations on specific actions to take, including dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, and supplementation strategies, all under the guidance of a registered health practitioner. This holistic approach is facilitated by our platform, which provides detailed, actionable guidance based on personal health data. This enables our users to make informed health decisions, supported by targeted recommendations and access to expert advice.

How do you personalize supplement regimens for individuals, particularly those with specific genetic needs?

At Omnos, we tailor supplement regimens very specifically to individual needs, which involves understanding the genetic profile of each person and assessing their vitamin and mineral deficiencies via blood testing. For example, because of my VDR genes, I take over 5000 IU of vitamin D per day during winter. Vitamin D, essential for bone health, also impacts immune function, mood, and more through receptors in nearly every cell of our body. Deficiency, prevalent among a significant portion of the UK population, is linked to autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, and mood disorders. Supplementation, tailored to individual factors, aids in optimizing levels, crucial for overall health. This specific adjustment is crucial because someone else might not need that much vitamin D if their levels are adequate and they do not share the same genetic traits. It is crucial to understand when and how much of a supplement should be taken, making personalization key to our approach.

What makes Omnos' approach to the market unique, particularly in how you engage with healthcare practitioners?

Our unique approach at Omnos involves working primarily with practitioners who use our platform to gain a broader network of information and help them manage their health more efficiently by having all data in one place.

We have digitized and modernized a field that was previously reliant on outdated methods like paper records. By connecting various health data points—within over 1500 biomarkers from blood tests to other functional tests like hormones, microbiome, etc.

—we provide practitioners with a comprehensive toolkit that helps them understand and treat their patients more effectively.

What are your future plans for Omnos, and how do you intend to continue innovating in the health sector?

Going forward, Omnos is looking to expand the accessibility and efficacy of our health optimization tools. While we have achieved a lot, there is still a significant opportunity to enhance the way these tools integrate into daily health management. Omnos plans to expand in Europe and other territories for practitioners. Omnos stands out as the sole platform empowering healthcare practitioners to compare a broad spectrum of test data, track their progression over time, and generate comprehensive recommendations for tests, supplements, and dietary adjustments, all informed by seamlessly integrated data.

I am also working on a new venture to complement Omnos and further accomplish my personal mission of real-time health optimization accessible to anyone and effective for everyone. We plan to further blend analytical tools with practitioner insights to create an ecosystem that supports real-time health optimization. Our approach is to democratize personalized health, making it effective and accessible for everyone, continuing our mission to transform health management through innovative and integrative solutions
